PERMANENT Lead Occupational Therapist

Are you eager to land a brand new PERM role? Our client, based in Northwest London, are looking for an Lead Occupational Therapist to manage children and young people services across the council. 

Position: PERM Lead OT 
Rate: £57,150 per annum
Essentials: 
- Experience working with paediatric, children with disabilities and special needs. 
- Enhanced DBS required for this position
- Registered with HCPC
- Occupational Therapy Qualification

Purpose:

• You will be managing the Social Care OT Service, including staff supervision, Assessments and advice around equipment and adaptations. Multi disciplinary working, to improve outcome to vulnerable residents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Positive contribution the service delivery, meeting council objectives. 
• Team Operations support, alongside the Head Of Service, to achieve high standards of Occupational Therapy practices.
• Complex caseload managements, support with assessment and risk management of children and families. 
• Manual Handling, Minor & Major Adaptations, Equipment support within community and own homes. 
• Multi Disciplinary working - Surgeons, Consultants, PT, SALT, etc...

High knowledge of current legislations, within Occupational Therapy, particular around paediatrics.
