Permanent Fostering and Adoption Panel Advisor - SouthendLocation: Southend-on-SeaSalary per annum: £53,460 - £58,959 per annumWorking Arrangements: Hybrid Working AvailableBenefits: Relocation Package Available (up to £8,000)Pertemps are seeking an experienced Fostering and Adoption Panel Advisorto join Southend''s Children''s Social Care service on a permanent basis.Key Duties:Provide professional advice and guidance to Adoption and Fostering Panels.Coordinate all panel arrangements, ensuring meetings are effectively planned and managed.Ensure panels run smoothly and that all actions, recommendations, and reports are completed within required timescales.Maintain the central list of panel members, ensuring sufficient capacity to meet service demands.Oversee the approval process for foster carers and support early permanence decision-making.Promote and support a range of family placement options, including fostering, adoption, and permanence arrangements.Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for children.Ensure panel processes comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice standards.Support high-quality family placement services through effective panel governance and oversight.Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of fostering and adoption services.About You:Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.Registered with Social Work England.Eligible to work in the ..... full job details .....
