Qualified Nursery Nurse

• Hours: Average 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Location: Nursery in Hedge End
• Salary: -25,000 per annum
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery in Hedge End on a permanent basis.

The nursery is open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:00pm, with practitioners working on a rolling shift system between 8:00am and 6:00pm. The shift pattern allows for a shorter working day every other day, with an average working week of 37.5 hours. There may also be opportunities to extend your working week.

This is a lovely opportunity for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner who is kind and caring, with an enthusiastic approach to working with children and their families.

Newly qualified practitioners are welcome to apply, with training provided to help you learn the nursery''s ways and ease you into the role.

The role

• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children
• Support children''s learning, development and individual needs
• Build warm and positive relationships with children and their families
• Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure every child''s needs are met
• Contribute ideas and be proactive in continually improving the nursery''s provision
• Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures
• Support with the day-to-day running of the nursery
• Work as part of a supportive and collaborative team

Requirements

• Punctual, reliable, and professional
• Relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
• Strong communication skills with children, families, and colleagues
• Ability to provide two proofs of address and references for last 2 years
• Willingness to follow safeguarding and EYFS guidelines
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children
• Support children''s learning, development and individual needs
• Build warm and positive relationships with children and their families
• Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
