PERM Occupational Therapist

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client are looking for a Housing Occupational Therapist to join their team.

Position: Housing Occupational Therapist
Salary: £41,133 – £49,059 per annum (DOE)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office

Purpose:
Supporting adults and children in the community through Occupational Therapy assessments, providing recommendations around adaptations, equipment and housing needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assessing adults and children and recommending major and minor adaptations.
• Supporting Occupational Therapy equipment provision and assessing housing needs.
• Preparing housing needs reports and advising on rehousing where required.
• Maintaining accurate records and working in line with relevant legislation, guidelines and standards.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months’ post-registration Housing OT or Social Care OT experience.
• BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent, with HCPC registration.
• Knowledge and understanding of the DFG process, Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
• Enhanced DBS required for adults and children, with the ability to travel around the borough for visits.
