Airport Engineering Manager Annual Salary: £49,817 - £54,143 Location: On-site Job Type: Full-time We are seeking an experienced Airport Engineering Manager to lead a team of eight engineers within a large, complex operational environment. This role is crucial for maintaining critical electrical and mechanical assets, ensuring safety, reliability, and service continuity. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background and a broad understanding of mechanical systems and infrastructure maintenance. Day-to-day of the role: Lead and manage a team of engineers operating across multiple shift patterns. Ensure the safe and effective maintenance of critical electrical and mechanical assets. Provide technical leadership within a live operational environment where reliability and service continuity are essential. Support reactive maintenance activities and participate in an out-of-hours on-call escalation process when required. Work closely with operational and asset management teams to drive performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong electrical engineering background with supporting mechanical knowledge. Experience working with high-voltage systems and exposure to substation environments. Good understanding of electrical systems, safety procedures, and operational processes.
