Job Title: Peripatetic Occupational Health Technician Location: Poole/Bournemouth/Dorchester Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum My client is currently looking for an Occupational Health Technician to join their growing peripatetic team. In this role, you will be responsible for traveling across the UK, operating a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to deliver essential health surveillance services at client sites. You will need to have the ability to park the unit near your home overnight and be comfortable with frequent travel, including regular overnight stays. The role typically requires you to be away from home for about 3 out of 4 weeks each month, but you will always be brought home for the weekend. This is a full-time role, with 37.5 hours per week, typically working between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. Travel throughout the UK is expected, and we are looking for candidates based in the Poole/Bournemouth/Dorchester area. Key Responsibilities: Conduct health surveillance screenings, including audiometry, lung function testing, drug and alcohol testing, and baseline measurements (height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis). Ensure accurate recording of all medical information in occupational health records, which will be passed to relevant clinical staff.
