Long Term Futures is recruiting a creative and technically confident Drama / Performing Arts Technician to join a successful secondary school in Wandsworth. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in theatre production, performing arts, technical stage support, events, or a school Drama department. Working closely with Drama teachers and the wider Performing Arts team, you will provide practical and technical support across lessons, rehearsals, examinations, productions, and school events. You will help ensure that performance spaces, equipment, props, costumes, lighting, and sound systems are prepared and maintained to a high standard. ResponsibilitiesProvide technical and practical support for Drama and Performing Arts lessons.Prepare performance spaces, studios, stages, props, costumes, and equipment.Operate and support lighting, sound, projection, and other technical theatre equipment.Assist with rehearsals, examinations, school productions, performances, and events.Support students with the safe and appropriate use of technical equipment.Help design, construct, source, and maintain scenery, sets, props, and displays.Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance of ..... full job details .....
