Role- Performance Test Engineer Contract- 6 months rolling contract Location- Gaydon, UK Accountabilities: The Performance Test Engineer is responsible for review andamp; risk assess post certification changes in SW andamp; HW for xHEV andamp; BEV propulsion systems. Role is pivotal in ensuring compliance to new regulations like UNR 155 andamp; 156. The responsibilities include: Review risk assessments for post-certification changes related to xHEV/BEV propulsion systems. Assess change request content against applicable regulations. Develop summary slide packs capturing all calibration changes. Key Recommended Skills: Knowledge of EV propulsion regulations, including: Battery safety and performance (eg, UNECE R100, FMVSS No. 305a, GTR No. 22) Charging systems (AC/DC standards, ISO 15118, IEC 61851) Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards (eg, UNECE R10) Electric Drive Unit (EDU) performance and safety standards Selection criteria: Experience in automotive powertrain testing/Randamp;D preferably in Hybrid andamp; EV domain.
