Performance Test Engineer

Performance Test Engineer - Outside IR35 - 6 month initial contract - London/hybrid - up to £525 per day We''re looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer to lead and deliver end-to-end performance testing for a modern web platform built on a microservices architecture.Key responsibilities:Define and implement the performance testing strategy.Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and capacity tests.Develop and maintain test scripts using JMeter or similar tools.Identify and analyse performance bottlenecks across applications and services.Work closely with Development, QA, and DevOps teams to resolve issues and improve scalability.Produce clear performance reports and recommendations for stakeholders.Required experience:Proven performance testing experience in web-based environments.Strong knowledge of performance testing frameworks and methodologies.Experience with microservices and API-driven applications.Hands-on expertise with JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, NeoLoad, or k6.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.Reasonable Adjustments:Respect and equality are core values to us.
