Performance and Operations Manager

Closing: 19 th October Performance and Operations Manager Strangford Road, Downpatrick Temporary (Approx 26 weeks) £22.99 per hour 36 hours per week Main Purpose The post holder will be responsible for the effective management of refuse and cleansing services in their area. The refuse service consists of domestic and commercial refuse collection of residual and recyclable waste, collection of bulky domestic items and delivery of wheeled bins. The cleansing service includes cleansing of streets, roads, parks and open spaces, street washing, graffiti control and cleansing of public conveniences. They will ensure that the services are planned and delivered effectively and that through effective monitoring and evaluating of performance the services develop and improve continually. The post holder will lead a supervisory team to ensure that all key objectives in the refuse and cleansing section are delivered in a safe and efficient manner. They will also support the Head of Refuse and Cleansing in delivering high quality services across the district through effective implementation of performance management across staff and resources.
