You''ll manage a frontline operational team, making sure bin collections, street cleansing and related services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard across the district. What you''ll be doing:Managing the day-to-day running of refuse collection (domestic, commercial, recycling and bulky waste) and street cleansing servicesLeading and developing a team of supervisors and frontline staffHandling employee relations, including discipline, grievance and attendance managementWorking with trade unions to maintain good industrial relationsOverseeing health and safety, including risk assessments, route risk assessments and accident investigationsMonitoring service performance and reporting to the Head of Refuse and CleansingManaging complaints, Freedom of Information requests and service budgetsWorking with partners including the PSNI, NIHE and community groupsTravelling across the district, acting as keyholder and responding to emergency call-outs when needed What you''ll need:Proven experience managing a frontline ..... full job details .....
