Performance Analyst Internship 2026/2027 Contract Type Work Placement Ideal for Undergraduate Students / Placement Year Students / Masters Students / Those looking to gain experience in professional football. Start Date July 2026 End Date May 2027 Hours- Part-time (25-28 Hours Per Week) Salary Unpaid Internship Colchester United has student internships available across the First Team for the 2026/2027 season. This specific role will be to assist the analysis process across the First Team. Those invited to interview will be asked to complete a small task to demonstrate their analysis skills and football understanding. The ideal candidate must: Demonstrate good knowledge and tactical understanding of the game Be proficient using Mac iOS and Windows products (Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel, etc) Be working towards completing an undergraduate/postgraduate degree in sports science or a relevant field OR have experience working as a performance analyst Be adaptable to the workflow of professional football Cope in high demand situations Be able to commit to the entire 2026/2027 season Desirable candidate qualities: Have Knowledge and expertise of industry software, specifically in relation to SBG, HUDL, and Hudl Sportscode.
