People Operations Officer

6 Months Temporary Contract initially

We''re looking for an organised and customer-focused People Operations Officer to join a busy HR team on an initial 6 month contract, supporting the delivery of high-quality people services across the employee life cycle. The role is offering a competitive hourly rate of -14.95 per hour, that would be paid weekly every Friday.

You will work Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, with flexibility where needed. You will be based in the Glasgow office 1 day per week and work 4 dys from home, enjoying a strong work from home flexibility.

In this role, you''ll provide HR administration across onboarding, offboarding, contracts, learning & development and employee records, while acting as a first point of contact for HR queries. You''ll also help maintain HR systems, ensure data accuracy and compliance, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

What we''re looking for:

  • Experience in HR administration across the employee lifecycle.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft 365 applications.

  • Good understanding of HR best practice and employment legislation.

A CIPD qualification (or working towards one) and public sector HR experience are advantageous but not essential.
