People Operations Manager

Location: Princes Risborough, hybrid working Salary: £40,000 Contract: Three months Hours: 37 We are delighted to be supporting a purpose-led organisation in the search for a People Operations Manager to play a key role within its People and Culture function. This is a broad and hands-on position, taking ownership of the day-to-day delivery of people operations while driving improvements across systems, processes, recruitment and the overall employee experience. You will also line manage the People Team Executive and work closely with senior leaders, line managers and colleagues across the organisation. The Role As People Operations Manager, you will lead the operational delivery of the People and Culture team, ensuring employees and managers receive an efficient, responsive and high-quality service. A significant part of the role will involve identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and continuously improve people processes, while maintaining strong governance and compliance. You will be responsible for: Leading the day-to-day operations of the People and Culture team and line managing the People Team Executive. Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from attraction through to offer, ensuring an excellent candidate and onboarding experience. Overseeing employee data and maintaining the accuracy of the HR system, including Sage People and its payroll interface. Managing the monthly payroll process alongside the People Team Executive.
