This is a genuinely generalist role; you will have the opportunity to get involved with all touch points of the employee lifecycle. You will assist with the onboarding of new So Energists, maintain our HRIS (Human Resources Information System), off-boarding of leavers, org charts and HR reporting. You will also be involved in monthly payroll processing.Responsibilities
Employee lifecycle management, DBS checks, maintaining employee database, payroll administrationSupport HRBPs, Talent, and other areas of the People TeamRespond to internal HR queries and actions, prepare employee documents and ensure compliance with HR protocolsResponsible for the creation of employee letters and ensuring templates are up to dateSupport the People Operations team to follow best practice policiesSupport the implementation of People initiatives and projectsSupport with onboarding and offboarding of employeesAdminister and maintain our HRIS (currently Hibob) and ensure it is up to dateMaintain and update org chartsResponsible for payroll processingGet involved with HR analytics and reporting requirements (e.g., sickness and absence rates)Support the People team from a generalist perspective during periods of leave or as requiredSupport with recruitment initiativesDemonstrate a values-led approach and align with our behavioural frameworkCollaborate with ESB colleagues to strengthen partnershipWhat you’ll be getting up to
