I''m partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Swansea to recruit a People and Culture Officer on a 12-month FTC, with the potential to become permanent.Client DetailsManufacturing DescriptionOur client, a well-established manufacturing business in Swansea, is looking for an experienced People and Culture Officer to join their team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.As People and Culture Officer, you will take ownership of all day-to-day HR activities in the UK, whilst driving a number of key people-focused projects aimed at improving consistency, compliance and employee engagement across the organisation. This role offers flexibility around working days and hours, while providing the opportunity to make a real impact across the business. You will report directly to the General Manager in the UK with a dotted lined into the Head of Group People and Culture, based in Europe. At group level, you will work closely with the Group People and Culture team, participate in PandC meetings and handle HR tasks related to the group PandC strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day HR and people administration.Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.Review and update contracts, policies, procedures and the employee handbook.Support recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement initiatives.Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on people ..... full job details .....
