People Advisor (part-time)

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Melksham area who are actively looking to recruit a People Advisor on a permanent, part-time basis.What you will be doing:Assisting with the recruitment life cycle process including managing applications, preparing shortlists and arranging interviewsWorking with managers, providing first line advice on people policies and proceduresInvolvement with resolving Employee Relations matters including conduct, sickness, performance and grievancesManaging both on-boarding and off-boardingAssisting with the administration of performance and salary reviews Preparation of employment documents including contractual changesWorking with Managers to identify training needs and ensuring a regular training plan is in place Managing the HR system including updating information and reportingAdhoc project work and managing internal events What you will need to succeed:Proven experience within a generalist HR role, Employee Relations experience is essentialManufacturing or production experience beneficialExcellent communication skills as you will be dealing with a variety of individualsA flexible approach working in a busy environment where no two days are the sameFirst rate IT skills including experience with HR systemsWhat you will receive in return:Competitive salaryExcellent benefits package including holiday, onsite caf , life cover and free parking 25 hours per week, split over full days or every day please note either a ..... full job details .....
