People Operations and Employee Support : You will serve as the first point of contact for all People-related queries, offering clear, practical advice based on employment law and best practice. You will be responsible for a wide range of People matters, from advising managers on team support to ensuring effective internal communication across the business.System Ownership and Data Management : You will take full ownership of our People systems, ensuring all information is accurate, compliant, and easy to use. By analysing data and identifying trends, you\''ll provide valuable insights that help us continuously improve our employee-owner experience and ways of working.Full Employee Lifecycle Management : You will manage the complete employee lifecycle, including supporting recruitment, enhancing onboarding experiences, drafting employment contracts, and updating company policies. You will also ensure all records are meticulously maintained for payroll and compliance.Office and Facilities Oversight : You will take full responsibility for day-to-day office operations, including managing facilities, suppliers, and health and safety compliance. This includes overseeing service contracts, managing vendor agreements, and coordinating with third-party providers for larger projects.Cultural and Social Initiatives : You will organise company-wide events and initiatives that strengthen our community of employee-owners and foster our unique, collaborative culture.Essential Skills and Experience:Proven experience in a People role with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.Ability to provide confidential, professional People advice to colleagues at all levels.Knowledge of employment law, People best practices, and employee relations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to liaise confidently across the organisation on office, social, and People matters.Exceptional organisational, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently.High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Experience managing People systems with a willingness to develop your expertise further.A strong understanding of data protection and GDPR compliance.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.Curious and motivated to stay up to date on People trends, legal updates and best practice.Highly DesirableExperience using People systems such as Iris.CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards it).Experience delivering training or facilitating workshops.This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to have real impact in an employee-owned business.
