People Advisor 12-month Fixed Term Contract (with possibility of permanent appointment) Salary to £37,000 per annum Macildowie are delighted to be supporting a not-for-profit organisation in Leicester with the appointment of an experienced People Advisor on a fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on People role offering the opportunity to make a genuine impact during an important period of organisational change. The successful individual will provide practical HR support across the employee lifecycle, offer first-line advice to managers, support employee relations activity and help improve the way HR processes and services are delivered. Working closely with the HR Manager and wider People team, you will take ownership of key employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, induction, probation, employee changes and offboarding. You will also support managers with day-to-day people matters, provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, and use HR data and insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement. There is also significant scope to improve how HR operates. You will help strengthen processes, systems and guidance, improve the experience for managers and colleagues, and support the development of a more effective and consistent People service. The role will also provide day-to-day guidance and support to an HR Officer and contribute to wider People projects and change activity.
