This is a ful-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Interpret and apply LGPS regulations and overriding legislation to support accurate pension administration. Provide technical support and guidance on complex pension cases and enquiries. Check work for accuracy and identify and resolve complex issues. Conduct manual testing of pension benefit calculations to ensure they meet regulatory and statutory requirements. Review changes to benefit calculations and assess their accuracy and implications. Monitor and improve data quality and compliance with regulations and GDPR. Keep up to date with changes to pension legislation and regulatory requirements and communicate updates to colleagues. Respond to enquiries from customers and relevant stakeholders. Requirements: Experience within LGPS/pensions administration . Good understanding of pension regulations and relevant legislation.
