The firm''s specialist Pensions team advises a diverse client base of trustees, employers and pension scheme providers on all aspects of pensions law, delivering practical solutions to complex legal and regulatory challenges. The team is recognised for its technical expertise and collaborative approach, supporting clients on scheme governance, regulatory compliance, risk management and pensions issues arising from corporate transactions. Your new role This is an exciting opportunity for a Pensions Associate to join a highly regarded team in Guildford. You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of pensions and life assurance matters, including advisory, transactional and regulatory work.Your responsibilities will include advising trustee and employer clients on day-to-day pension scheme and life assurance scheme matters, including governance, benefit structures and regulatory compliance. You will support the pensions aspects of corporate transactions, conducting due diligence and assisting with drafting pensions-related documentation. You will also be involved in drafting and reviewing scheme documentation, member communications and legal advice notes, as well as undertaking legal research on developments in pensions law and regulatory changes.
