This role offers the chance to work with large pension schemes and a variety of multinational clients.Role context
Our Pensions team provides audit services to some of the biggest pension schemes in the UK. This is a chance to gain experience working with a variety of large, multi-national clients.Responsibilities
Make quality second nature: contribute to high standards and quality in all work to impact clients and the firm.Own your own work: lead onsite audit teams, prepare and review financial statements, and keep management updated on progress.Collaborate as part of a national pensions audit team, mentoring junior colleagues to ensure understanding of responsibilities and strong on-the-job training.Take responsibility: act as a trusted business adviser to clients and oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion.Build your brand: work with your people manager to identify development areas and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels; position yourself as a trusted adviser.Minimum criteria: professional qualification ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA; experience leading audits (as in-charge) of varying sizes across pension schemes.Skills to set you apart
Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102Excellent knowledge of the Pension SoRPExtensive experience using audit software and Microsoft packagesGenuine interest in clients with ability to discuss business challenges confidentlyInterest in maintaining and developing technical knowledge to facilitate valuable client discussionsKnowing we’re right for you
