As a Peer Mentor you will need to have living experience of mental health difficulties and have gained a level of insight into your mental health experience and be ready to talk about them openly. It is important that applicants have reached a period of stability and can manage their mental health and wellbeing, for them to be ready for this role. They are looking for someone who is ready to use their experience to support and inspire service users in their recovery journey.
