Our client is looking for a junior engineer to join a dynamic and growing team, with a specific focus on ICE, MHEV and PHEV programmes. The successful candidate will work on the continuous development and yearly updates of our lineup of vehicles with combustion engines, supporting the Lead Engineers in the delivery of Propulsion Efficiency. The candidate should have strong data analytics and reporting skills, be able to read and understand automotive regulations as required, and be able to learn quickly and work under fluid and tight deadlines to support timely delivery of Fuel Economy and Hybrid Range properties for a wide range of markets and products.Responsibilities

Must understand the physics behind vehicle efficiency, cycle energy demand, PHEV electric range, by academic knowledge or direct work experience.Must have significant working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookMust have knowledge of requirements and standards reading, interpreting and writing; experience is desirableEducation: 1st degree in Automotive Engineering or equivalentDriving LicenceLocation: UK, Gaydon - must be able to arrange own travelEligibility
