Job Description:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience.
- Promote health, fitness, and well-being through a diverse and inclusive PE curriculum.
- Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities and school teams.
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback to encourage achievement.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment aligned with the schoolandrsquo;s behaviour policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular initiatives and enrichment activities.
- Engage with parents and carers to support student development and participation.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Hold UK QTS or be a fully qualified PE Teacher with relevant experience in secondary education.
- Be passionate about physical education and inspiring student engagement in sport and fitness.
- Have excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and EAL students.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to lead or contribute to school sports events and teams.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
