Are you a passionate and energetic PE Teacher who loves motivating students to excel - both on the field and beyond£ A dynamic, forward-looking secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking an enthusiastic and flexible PE specialist to join their team, with opportunities available for both full-time and part-time positions.
This role goes beyond teaching; itandrsquo;s about nurturing confident, healthy, and well-rounded young people through the transformative power of sport and physical education.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and impactful PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach KS5
- Foster physical fitness, mental wellbeing, and teamwork through a varied and inclusive PE curriculum
- Lead extracurricular activities, including after-school clubs, sports fixtures, and inter-school competitions
- Create a supportive and inspiring environment where every student is encouraged to participate and achieve
- Promote leadership, confidence, and sportsmanship among students
- Collaborate with a dedicated PE team to enhance teaching standards and share effective practices
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in whole-school events and enrichment programmes
The ideal candidate will:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or actively working towards obtaining it
- Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a closely related discipline
- Experience teaching PE within a secondary school environment
- Genuine passion for sport with the ability to engage students of all abilities
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication skills, high energy, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
