Supply Desk are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Fareham on a full-time maternity cover from September 2026 until July 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate PE Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop their skills, confidence, teamwork and understanding of healthy lifestyles.

You will become an important part of the school''s wider teaching team, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure students receive a positive and supportive learning experience throughout the placement.

• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Promote healthy lifestyles, participation, teamwork and sportsmanship

• Support students'' progress through effective assessment and guidance

• Lead and assist with extracurricular sports teams and clubs where required

• Ensure a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment

• Build positive relationships with students and encourage active participation

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and follow whole-school policies

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification

• Experience teaching PE at secondary level

• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills

• A genuine passion for PE and motivating young people

• A proactive, positive and adaptable approach

• Ability to commit to the full maternity cover from September 2026 to July 2027

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
