Job Description:
anduuml;andnbsp; Plan and deliverandnbsp;engaging, inclusive, and challenging PE lessonsandnbsp;across Key Stages 3 and 4
anduuml;andnbsp; Promoteandnbsp;physical fitness,andnbsp;skill development, andandnbsp;sportsmanshipandnbsp;through a broad and balanced PE curriculum
anduuml;andnbsp; Lead and supportandnbsp;extracurricular sports clubs,andnbsp;inter-school competitions, andandnbsp;whole-school health initiatives
anduuml;andnbsp; Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback that supportsandnbsp;personal growthandnbsp;andandnbsp;performance improvement
anduuml;andnbsp; Collaborate with colleagues, pastoral teams, and parents to support student wellbeing and achievement
anduuml;andnbsp; Contribute to the wider life of the school, includingandnbsp;sports days,andnbsp;enrichment weeks, andandnbsp;community partnerships
The Ideal Candidate Will:
anduuml;andnbsp; Have experience teaching PE at secondary level (desirable but not essential)
anduuml;andnbsp; Be passionate aboutandnbsp;physical education,andnbsp;youth development, andandnbsp;active learning
anduuml;andnbsp; Demonstrate strongandnbsp;classroom and behaviour managementandnbsp;skills
anduuml;andnbsp; Be committed toandnbsp;inclusive practice, ensuring all students can access and enjoy physical activity
anduuml;andnbsp; Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
anduuml;andnbsp; Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
andnbsp;
