Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Until July, with Potential to Continue in September)
Pay Range: andpound;160 - andpound;240 per day (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 8:00 am andndash; 4:00 pm
Overview:
An excellent secondary school located close to Andover is seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This full-time, long-term role is to cover a staff member on extended absence and will run until July 2025, with the potential to continue in September for the right candidate.
You will be teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles within a dynamic and well-supported department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
- Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to support students of all abilities
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship in all activities
- Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school events
- Work collaboratively with a supportive and experienced PE team

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and ability to teach KS3 and KS4

- Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
