We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented PE Teacher to join our team in January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students in Slough to lead active, healthy lifestyles through dynamic and engaging physical education lessons. The successful candidate will deliver a broad and inclusive PE curriculum that promotes teamwork, resilience, and physical well-being, encouraging students to develop a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness.
About the Role:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across all key stages in line with the National Curriculum
- Encourage student participation in a variety of sports and physical activities, fostering personal development and teamwork
- Monitor and assess student progress, offering tailored support to enhance individual performance
- Lead extracurricular activities including sports clubs and competitions, and contribute to school-wide events
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that promotes physical and mental well-being
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification in Physical Education
- Have proven experience teaching PE, ideally within a secondary school setting
- Possess strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and current best practices in physical and health education
- Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills, with a passion for engaging and inspiring students
- Be committed to nurturing resilience, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits in young people
