PE Teacher

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a secondary school on the Fylde Coast who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave from January 2027.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PE Teacher or an ECT looking for a long-term position within a supportive secondary school environment.The successful PE Teacher will be responsible for:Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.Teaching a range of sporting activities and disciplines.Creating a positive, inclusive and motivating learning environment.Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities.Maintaining high standards of behaviour and participation.Monitoring and assessing pupil progress.Building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, fixtures and school sport where required.We are looking for a PE Teacher who:Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.Has experience teaching PE within a secondary school.Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for sport and physical education.Can deliver engaging and challenging lessons.Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting pupils to achieve their potential.Works well as part of a wider PE department.APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SPENCER CLARKE GROUPAll applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS ..... full job details .....
