PE Teacher (with some DT Teaching) - MineheadFull-Time Temp to Perm Opportunity Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Minehead on a full-time basis. This is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering the chance to become a valued member of the school''s permanent teaching team. The successful candidate will predominantly teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, alongside a small allocation of Design Technology (DT) lessons. All DT lessons are fully planned, and resources will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for a PE specialist who is willing to support another curriculum area. The Role Full-time PE Teacher position within a secondary school Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to students across KS3 and KS4 Teach a small number of DT lessons using pre-planned schemes of work and resources Foster positive relationships with students and promote high standards of behaviour and achievement Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive school team Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Confident adapting to different learning needs and abilities Willingness to teach some DT lessons with the support of existing planning and resources ..... full job details .....
