About the Role:

Prospero Teaching is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Secondary PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Sefton area. We''re seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational PE Teacher who is passionate about promoting physical activity and personal development across a range of sporting disciplines.

PE Teacher

Location: Sefton

Start Date: After half term

Contract Type: Temporary, Short term

Working Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Pay: Paid to scale

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that develop students'' physical literacy
• Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their personal best
• Leading clubs, fixtures, and enrichment opportunities both during and after school
• Promoting the values of teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A strong role model who fosters participation, effort, and personal growth
• Experience teaching a range of sports to girls
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
• Ability to provide two professional references.
