      <description>Location: Leeds | Salary: &amp;pound;168 - &amp;pound;232/day | Type: Contract | Academics are current recruiting for an experienced and committed PE teacher for a diverse Secondary School in the Wakefield area. This is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a team who are looking for someone to contribute to the school''s curriculum and enhance student''s physical abilities. This PE teacher role will be starting from September 2026 and will run until the end of the academic year, with the potential of gaining a permanent contract from September 2027.     Roles and responsibilities of being a PE teacher:   Have previous experience teaching PE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.  Demonstrating a clear understanding of the curriculum.  Inspire the next generation by displaying a passion for sports and fitness.  Supporting and encouraging children of all physical abilities.  Organizing and planning proactive and engaging lessons.  Collaborating with other members of the team and sharing ideas.
