PE Teacher – Ongoing Sickness Cover

We are currently seeking a qualified PE Teacher with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings to join a well-established SEN school in Haringey. This is an ongoing role to cover sickness absence, offering the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people.
The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for pupils with a wide range of needs, from primary through to sixth form. With a strong focus on personalised learning, the staff team are dedicated to helping every pupil achieve their potential both academically and personally.
The role:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across primary, secondary, and sixth form
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with diverse learning requirements
- Work collaboratively with support staff and other teachers to create a positive learning environment
- Contribute to the school’s ethos of inclusion, respect, and achievement
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physical Education
- Proven experience teaching in an SEN school setting
- Confidence in planning and delivering lessons for pupils aged 5–18
- Strong behaviour management, patience, and a nurturing approach
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for working with young people with SEN
