PDI Technician

We are seeking a PDI / Sales Vehicle Technician to join a reputable family-run car dealership located in Haywards Heath. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to contribute to a busy workshop environment with a focus on high-quality pre-delivery inspection (PDI) work and sales vehicle preparation. PDI / Sales Vehicle Technician Duties:

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles
• Servicing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Diagnosing vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment, including Launch scanners
• Performing routine maintenance such as brake, tyre, and general repairs
• Conducting sales prep work for used vehicles
• Maintaining accurate records of diagnostics and repairs
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Assisting in vehicle quality control to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or equivalent setting
• Relevant qualifications such as Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle diagnostics is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of diagnostic systems and tools
• Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering high standards of work
• Professional attitude and excellent time management skills
