PDI Technician

Our client is a well-established main dealership in Coventry and is looking for an experienced PDI Technician to join their busy Service Department. Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles in line with manufacturer standards.
• Complete vehicle preparation, servicing, and routine maintenance to ensure vehicles are ready for customer handover.
• Fit accessories and carry out vehicle enhancements as required.
• Identify and rectify any mechanical or electrical faults found during the PDI process.
• Complete all work efficiently and in line with manufacturer repair methods and company procedures.
• Accurately complete PDI documentation, vehicle health checks, and service records.
• Ensure all vehicles meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation before delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Work closely with the Workshop Controller and Service team to ensure vehicles are prepared on time.

Minimum Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience as a PDI Technician, Vehicle Technician, or Service Technician within a dealership or similar workshop environment.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
