The Role
As a PDI Technician, you''ll be responsible for ensuring new and used vehicles are prepared to the required safety, quality and presentation standards before being handed over to customers.
Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on vehicles
·Completing vehicle health checks and inspections
·Checking mechanical and electrical systems
·Identifying and rectifying faults before vehicle handover
·Carrying out minor mechanical repairs where required
·Checking vehicle levels, tyres, lights and safety systems
·Ensuring vehicles meet manufacturer and company standards
·Completing inspection paperwork accurately
·Preparing vehicles to a high standard for customer delivery
·Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
 
About You
We''re looking for a qualified and reliable PDI Technician / Vehicle Technician who takes pride in their workmanship and has strong attention to detail.
You''ll ideally have:
·Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
·Previous experience within a PDI, dealership or automotive workshop environment
·Strong mechanical knowledge and practical repair skills
·Excellent attention to detail
·A professional and reliable approach
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·Full UK Manual Driving Licence
·Full set of own tools
