PDI Operative

Salary: £27,000 £29,000 per annum, depending on experiencePermanent, Full-TimeMonday Thursday, 6:30am 5:00pm We are currently recruiting for a PDI Operative to join an established and busy workshop environment in the Doncaster area. This is a hands-on quality-focused role where you will play an important part in ensuring vehicle conversions are completed to the highest possible standards before they leave the workshop. You ll be responsible for carrying out detailed quality checks, ensuring equipment and installations are correctly fitted and fully operational, completing documentation and supporting the wider workshop team.The role would be particularly well suited to Vehicle Technicians, Mechanics, Vehicle Inspectors or candidates with previous PDI, workshop or automotive experience. Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance would also be advantageous. What You''ll Be Doing As a PDI Operative; Carrying out detailed checks on completed vehicle conversions to ensure all items have been correctly fitted and are fully operational. Using a tablet-based system to record and complete quality checks. Applying stickers, rubber matting and other required items to vehicles. Using vehicle weigh pads and accurately recording details for different types of conversion. Completing all relevant paperwork and quality documentation accurately.
