About the Role
Manpower UK is seeking a PDI Operative to join their client in Immingham, Killingholme. This temporary role involves performing Pre-Delivery Inspections on vehicles at the port. Duties include road testing, adjusting tyre pressures, inspecting vehicles on ramps, fitting registration plates, and using torque wrenches. You will run diagnostic checks, complete valeting and quality inspections, handle vehicle paperwork, confirm VIN numbers, and report any defects. Working Monday to Friday with additional Saturdays, shifts start at 6am or 7am, finishing between 4pm and 5pm depending on workload. The hourly rate is £12.71 during training, with potential increases once trained. Candidates must follow Health and Safety rules and maintain high presentation standards.
Manpower are currently looking to recruit PDI Operatives for one of our clients in the Killingholme area!
The hours of work for this role are Monday - Friday + Saturdays.
You will be required to start at 6am/7am and finishing between 4pm/5pm depending on volumes.
The rate of pay whilst you are training is £12.71 per hour. Once trained up the pay rate can increase.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
- Road testing
- Adjusting tyre pressure
- Inspecting on ramps
- Installing registration plates
- Using torque wrenches
- Running diagnostic checks
- Valeting and quality checks
- Handle vehicle paperwork and confirm VIN numbers
- Report any vehicle defects
- Move vehicles safely around the port
- Maintain high vehicle presentation standards
- Follow Health andamp; Safety rules
- Attend meetings and train staff as needed
Requirements:
- Detail-oriented
- Basic computer skills
- Full clean UK driving license
- Must be 22 or older (for insurance purposes)
- Must have your own vehicle to access the site
