PCN Clinical Pharmacist

Background –

This is a superb permanent opportunity with a very forward-thinking and well respected PCN, looking to add another Clinical Pharmacist to their established Pharmacy team. You will need to have Primary Care experience, be a prescriber and have completed the CPPE Pathway. The PCN offers superb progression and development opportunities and is very supportive with any areas of interest. There is flexibility around exact hours each day and the option to work full time or part time. Be part of a hub-based Pharmacy team and also spend time at the practices in the PCN.

There is a very generous salary entitlement of up to £62,400 per annum FTE (£32 per hour) DOE, 6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays and NHS Pension.

Salary –  £47,000 - £62,400 per annum FTE DOE + NHS pension + 6 weeks annual leave + Bank Holidays + Indemnity + Study

Location – North Somerset

The PCN –

• Very Forward-thinking and passionate PCN
• Strong staff retention
• Work alongside a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team (including other Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs)
• Be part of the PCN Pharmacy Hub
• Flexible around hours – 3-5 days per week
• Varied demographic across the PCN
• Emis Web computer system

Your role –

• Clinical Pharmacist (permanent)
• Work with other Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs in the Pharmacy Hub
• Run clinics from some of the surgeries within the PCN
• Usual Clinical Pharmacist duties as well as focusing on areas of special interest as well
• Need to have experience in Primary Care, be a prescriber and have completed the CPPE Pathway!
• Option to get involved in care home visits
• No extended hours
• Superb opportunities to progress and develop your career as a Clinical Pharmacist
