PCB Test Engineer

World Class Defence Organisation based in Bolton is currently looking to recruit a PCB Test Engineer. This position is suited for a candidate with the following experience: PCB test engineering experience Diagnosis of test failures Testing experience down to component level Minimum HNC level of Engineering qualifications or equivalent. Rate: £37 per hourLocation: BoltonContract: 37 Hours per weekOvertime: Hours worked over 37 hours per week will be calculated at ''time and a quarter''Hybrid working: Full Time onsite - potential for some future hybrid working per business needs Duration: 12 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)IR35 status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella) As a Production Test Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting testing and diagnostics of circuit cards during the production phase of the product lifecycle. You will use your experience to provide technical support to the manufacturing test capability, to ensure programme targets are met to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.Responsibilities:You will be working with a small team of dedicated engineers in a fast-paced but friendly and inclusive manufacturing environment, carrying out the following: Providing test engineering support to operators on the shopfloor, including supporting the introduction of new test equipment.
