PCB Layout Engineer

Job Title: PCB Layout Engineer Location: Leeds (Onsite) Salary: Up to £45k (DOE) We re looking for a PCB Layout Engineer to work within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, designing high quality, high speed, low noise analogue and RF printed circuit boards. The role will involve developing schematics, producing PCB layouts and creating manufacturing and assembly data packages for a variety of products. You will work closely with an in-house assembly team to deliver boards with a high level of quality and manufacturability. Key Responsibilities Design single-sided, double-sided and multi-layer PCBs using industry-standard techniques, ensuring consideration for DFM/DFT. Design multi-layer PCB Layout using Altium Designer. Work with Electronic/RF Engineers to develop schematics. Use Altium schematic capture and layout creation tools. Carry out CAD library administration, including symbol and footprint generation and database administration. Create 3D models and assemblies from 2D layouts. Use AutoCAD to provide support for Microwave Office-generated PCB data. Contribute to continual process improvement within the PCB layout function. Communicate effectively with multi-disciplined teams to achieve consistent, high-quality designs. Essential Skills and Experience Extensive knowledge of Altium schematic capture and layout creation tools. PCB layout experience within a design role.
