PCB Electronic Inspection Technician

Quartz-TSL are looking for an Electronic Inspection Technician to work within their busy PCB Assembly Inspection Department Commencing on a 6 months Temp-Perm basis, the position is full-time - 39 hours per week. Main Duties: Effective and efficient Inspection of Conventional and SMT Board Assemblies. Manual Soldering, Reworking and Prototyping. Electronic Product Assembly. The ideal candidate will be bright, enthusiastic and bubbly, willing to learn new tasks and enjoy being part of a team. Good communication skills are required, with the ability to take instruction, work without supervision and perform to tight deadlines. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Qualifications in Maths and English are essential alongside a sound knowledge of conventional and Surface Mount electronic component/packages, component polarity and a good interpretation of manufacturing documentation, (i.e., parts list, drawings, procedures). Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and Lead-Free processes and AOI operation and programming is desirable.
