PCB/ Cable Assembly Operator

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, capable and detail-oriented PCB / Cable Assembly Operator to join our client''s production team on a permanent basis, working 08.00-16.45 Monday-Thursday and 08.00-15.30 Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.Location: Medway TownsThe RoleAs a PCB / Cable Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for assembling electronic circuit boards and cable assemblies to a consistently high standard. You will work from detailed work instructions, diagrams and photographs, ensuring that all products meet the required quality and production standards.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical electronics manufacturing experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality products.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssemble PCB and cable assemblies to defined specifications.Solder surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole components onto PCBs.Operate an SMT pick-and-place machine to populate circuit boards.Build cable assemblies using soldering and crimping techniques.Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, photographs and diagrams.Follow established soldering processes and techniques.Carry out work accurately and consistently, maintaining a high level of quality at all times.Inspect completed assemblies and identify any defects or quality issues.Work effectively as part of the production team while also being able to work independently.Complete basic production records and documentation as required.Use ..... full job details .....
