The PCB Assembly and Soldering Technician role based in Stroud involves manual population and soldering of printed circuit boards within a precision engineering team. This permanent position, offering between £32,000 and £34,000 annually, requires proficiency with surface mount and through-hole components. Key duties include soldering fine pitch SMD parts under a microscope, wiring cable looms, and performing cable assembly with crimp and soldered connectors. Box-build or final assembly work, incorporating boards, cables, cases, and displays, is also expected. IPC certification is preferred, and electromechanical assembly experience is advantageous. The working pattern is full-time, focusing on inspection and assembly tasks.

My client is looking for an experienced Assembly operative for printed circuit board assembly and inspection.
Ideally experience in following areas
Manually populate and solder printed circuit boards.
Surface mount
Through hole components.
Solder fine pitch SMD components under microscope.
Preferably IPC certified.
Wiring cable looms and harnesses.
Cable assembly with crimp connectors and soldered connectors.
Box-build or final assembly consisting of printed circuit boards, cables, cases, displays and connectors.
Electromechanical assembly a plus.
