Key Duties/Tasks:Leading a team of 3End to end payroll processing for 1700 staffDistributing workload and day to day team managementTechnical skills including systems and excelHigh level technical month reconciliationSupport the busy payroll department high volume starters and leaversExperience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patternsMust have very strong Excel as lots of manual processingHigh volume, fast pacedPension and AutoenrollmentProvide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queriesEnsuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example Pension Contributions and BACS Salary PaymentsManual calculationsRTI SubmissionsReconciliation of weekly timesheets along with the input of overtimeExperience of T and A system useful Desirable skills and attributes:Industry experience would be great but not essentialPrevious senior payroll experience or long term payroll experience in a fast paced and high volume environmentPeople managementAccountabilityA keen eye for detailEnjoy working within a teamStrong basic maths skillsConfident on the phoneExcellent communicator as you will be answering queriesConfident with ExcelCIPP advantageous not essential BenefitsGroup ..... full job details .....
