Alongside managing the team, you’ll take ownership of complex payroll queries, compliance and reporting while playing a key role in process improvements, systems projects and payroll transformation. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop the UK payroll team. Oversee accurate end-to-end UK payroll processing. Resolve complex payroll and employee queries. Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation, RTI, pensions and GDPR. Produce payroll reports and maintain strong controls. Partner with HR, Finance and other key stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems. Lead payroll projects including system upgrades and policy changes. Support payroll integration during mergers and acquisitions.
