Payroll Specialist

UK PAYROLL SPECIALIST

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a leading media organisation, supporting the team with UK and Irish Payroll

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of manual journals and resolving reconciliation queries
• Working with the SAP Tech support team on BAU system changes and completing UAT
• Review of accurate and timely end to end processing of Irish and UK (including IR35) payrolls in collaboration with various departments within News UK and other Group Companies
• Resolving payroll queries raised by other members of the team, employees and various departments within News UK, Wireless and other Group Companies
• Produce periodic and ad-hoc payroll reports

What We''re Looking For:

• Clear understanding of employment law and tax regulations and the application to payroll procedures for ROI (and UK would be an advantage)
• SAP ECC 6 HR/Payroll system
• Good Excel skills (Pivot tables, v-look up, nesting formulae)
• Passionate about the work you do, embracing every opportunity to do your best work
