This isn''t a role where you''ll simply sit and process payroll. Our client is looking for someone hands-on, who enjoys taking ownership, spotting where things could work better and being involved across the wider finance and people function. You''ll have plenty of variety, including: Taking ownership of the payroll function and making sure everything runs smoothly Being the person everyone goes to when they have a payroll question Working closely with Finance, People and Operations to resolve issues and improve processes Keeping employee records and payroll data accurate and up to date Supporting month-end with payroll-related reporting, journals and reconciliations Producing payroll analysis and information for the wider business Monitoring payroll costs and highlighting anything that doesn''t look quite right Supporting pension administration and employee benefit processes Keeping up to date with changes in pay...
